Ice Swimming
in a Glacier Crevasse
The Natural Ice Palace at the Hintertux Glacier, located at an altitude of around 3,250 metres, is a truly unique natural wonder and the perfect year-round coolcation destination.
Inside the palace, the temperature remains a constant 0°C throughout the year. At its heart lies a spectacular ice lake stretching nearly 50 metres in length and approximately 3 metres in width.
This unique body of water ranges from 0.5 to 30 metres in depth and maintains a steady temperature of approximately –0.5°C.

Hintertux Glacier
Daily visits to the Natural Ice Palace with glacier crevasse swimming. The first day also includes a guided glacier tour and a boat trip. After a lunch break, depending on the weather, an additional swim may take place in a waterfall, mountain lake, or mountain stream.
Fascinating ice formations, frozen waterfalls and crystal-clear mountain lakes await you, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps in
Austria surrounding the glacier.
